Just like the more than two-hundred-and-fifty-year-old Baccarat crystal brand, the hotel located on West 53rdStreet across the street from Museum of Modern Art and steps away from Fifth Avenue’s legendary shopping, Baccarat Hotel New York reimagines the elegance and perfection of its shiny crystalware. As the first hotel and global flagship of Baccarat, the hotel originally opened in 2015 and has received numerous accolades since its opening.

The hotel glows inside and out as guests are greeted by a dazzling 20-by-25-foot wall adorned with more than 2,000 of Baccarat’s most iconic glasses, on the second floor lobby. Each custom-sized glass has been laid horizontally and lit by an LED light to create a 24-hour light show. Designed by Paris-based interior design firm Gilles & Boissier, the aesthetic combines Baccarat’s French classic aesthetics with a fanciful modern sensibility.

From 17 custom-produced chandeliers hanging in the hotel’s public areas to the impressive art collection and one-of-a-kind furniture, additional design elements throughout the hotel include: classic parquet floors, re-contextualized crystal elements incorporated as art installations and silver-leafed boiserie.

Featuring 114 appointed guest rooms and suites across 12 floors,  room categories start with the Classic King and ascend to the 1,740 sq. ft. Baccarat Suite. Designed to feel like pieds-à-terre and feature custom desks, sconces and table lamps by Baccarat, all rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and custom jacquard linens by Mascioni.

The marble bathrooms boast amenities crafted exclusively for the hotel by Parisian perfumer Maison Francis Kurkdjian while there is a tablet equipped with state-of-the-art technology that controls all aspects of the room; and even a button marked “Champagne'' allows guests to order a bottle of their favorite vintage to their rooms accompanied by signature Baccarat fluted glasses. Baccarat Suite guests will enjoy exclusive complimentary benefits during their stay, including in-suite coffee and tea each morning, beauty products from the hotel’s Spa de La Mer, and packing and unpacking service upon request

On the hotel’s second floor, surrounded by countless pieces of Baccarat crystalware, the hotel’s menus, which change seasonally, are created in partnership with Chef Gabriel Kreuther and the hotel’s Executive Chef Ashfer Biju. In the Grand Salon, guests will enjoy inventive all-day dining and the hotel’s signature afternoon tea program. The adjacent Bar is inspired by the stables of Versailles featuring barrel-vaulted ceiling and the outdoor seasonal Le Jardin terrace overlooking the MoMA.

In partnership with the ultra-prestigious skincare brand La Mer, Baccarat Hotel New York is home to its first spa in the United States. Spa de La Mer recalls a luxurious European seaside retreat with four treatment rooms and is adjacent to the 55-foot black-and-white marble-tiled indoor pool. Reminiscent of a sunken ballroom, this space is home to luxurious canopied daybeds and hot tub spa. There is also a 974 sq. ft. 24-hour gym featuring cutting-edge equipment and a staff of professional personal trainers.

Guests can also discover the ultimate hotel gift shop experience in the 53rd Street Boutique, showcasing an exquisitely curated collection of Baccarat lighting, barware, décor and more. To view all of their offers and experiences please visit https://www.baccarathotels.com/more/special-offers.
