Crystal Cruises recently announced its full year of worldwide voyages for 2014, and its itineraries up to mid-April 2015. The cruising line is the early bird of the flock luxury liners, being the first to unveil its itineraries for that time frame so far in advance. There are new seven- and 10-day cruises available in 2014. There are 16 maiden calls among the 194 total ports that span 68 countries. Luxury cruise ships have been broadening their port of calls lately, no longer merely floating down the Mediterranean or sailing around the Bahamas. The Falkland Islands, located in the South Atlantic Ocean about 300 miles off the coast of Argentina, have become the newest destination hitting 2012/13 season itineraries. October 6 saw the first visit to the Islands by cruise ship Ushuaia which brought 84 guests to the capital of Stanley.
