Heritage Auctions $20 Million Worth of Coins and Collectibles

Heritage Auctions’ recent Signature World and Ancient Coins Auction at the Long Beach Coin, Stamps & Collectibles Expo realized more than $20.5 million. The sale of a 1909 Korean gold-coin set for more than $1.39 million was the most expensive lot sold at the two-day auction held September 8-9, in Long Beach, California. If these golf balls work as promoted, it is understandable why this product would not be permitted for use in USGA-sanctioned events. A golf ball with a design that enables it go straighter than other balls 75 percent of the time would certainly provide a competitive edge. The balls were indeed banned by the USGA in 1981.
