A Suite View of Los Angeles

Jill Weinlein

Staying in a luxury suite at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City is the quintessential Los Angeles experience.

Situated along the famed Avenue of the Stars, and within walking distance to the Westfield Century City Lifestyle Center, Eataly LA, and Annenberg Space for Photography, the InterContinental Hotel is next to the Fox entertainment movie studios.

The hotel offers 363 spacious and elegantly appointed rooms with 178 spacious suites. Staying in Studio Suite #1034, guests can watch a little movie magic directly below, while standing on the wraparound terrace. This corner unit looks out to multiple Fox Studios soundstages, allowing guests to see the daily activity of a premier entertainment studio. The large outdoor terrace also offers sunrise views of downtown Los Angeles and sunset vistas of the Pacific Ocean. There is an outdoor seating area, and floor to ceiling glass doors that can be opened to allow fresh air inside.

The private one bedroom ensuite has plush Italian down bed linens, bathrobes and slippers, and a flat-screen television. The Italian marble bathroom has a walk-in shower, and separate soaking tub.

On the ground floor are two dining options that include Copper Lounge and Mari Restaurant. Copper Lounge is known for its local theme martinis. During the World Series playoffs, the mixologists made a bright Dodger Blue martini. They also make a Fruity Pebbles rimmed martini to honor the LA Laker's newest player LeBron James. Fruity Pebble is his favorite breakfast cereal.

Executive Chef Shane Hosac at Mari showcases creative International flavors with a fusion of seasonal, local and sustainable products that celebrate Southern California "garden to table" culture. On weekends, brunch with mimosas is served in the Mari dining room or outside at the manicured garden terrace.

Complimentary car service is available to guests within a 1.5-mile radius of the hotel, making it easy to explore world-class shopping, over 40 different dining venues, and sightseeing attractions.

Staying at the InterContinental Hotel appeals to visitors traveling to Los Angeles and locals seeking a relaxing or fun-filled staycation. Call (310) 284-6546 or go to http://www.intercontinentallosangeles.com.
