Thanks to Lisa Sotilis’s generosity and talent, an extraordinary art event is taking place in Spineto-Castellamonte, Turin, Italy. The exhibit features the Giorgio de Chirico sculptural masterpiece, I Grandi Archeologi (The Great Archaeologists) as well as Sotilis’s striking bronzes. The curator of the exhibition and author of the catalog is the world renowned art critic and historian, Professor Floriano de Santi.
Giorgio de Chirico (1888 – 1978), Greek-born Italian painter and sculptor, creator of the “scoula metafisica” painting style, which had a profound influence on subsequent art movements, such as Dadaism and Surrealism.
