If you've paid any news to celebrity gossip and news this week, I'm sure you've heard about Modern Family actor Ariel Winter's mama drama. In a nutshell, Winter has brought up abuse claims against her mother and is now in custody of her older sister Shanelle Gray. The latest in this saga is that the girls' mother actually lost custody of older daughter, Gray, almost twenty years ago due to same abuse allegations that Winter has brought up. In fact Gray spent more than two years in foster care and their mom never regained custody of her. Mom sure does sound like a winner, huh? Sad upbringing for these gals, and I'm so happy that Winter is well on her way to having the means to never have to bother with mom in her life, if that's what she chooses!
Ariel Winter's are allegedly blocked from her mom, Chrystal Workman and her sister, Shanelle Gray, reported TMZ on Nov. 9.
The 14-year-old actress was recently removed from her mother's care and Shanelle now has temporary guardianship. A judge ordered the removal after allegations that Crystal physically and emotionally abused Ariel, including denying her food, hitting her and attempting to sexualize her.
