Atom Tickets, the theatrical mobile ticketing platform and app, recently began its Boston launch. To celebrate, JustLuxe readers can get their first movie ticket purchased through the Atom Tickets app for free. (It is already backed by major studios including Disney, Fox and Lionsgate). Atom Tickets rolled out nationwide this summer, but Boston was lucky enough to be part of a new set of markets to introduce the new app in Regal Cinemas, AMC Theatres and Studio Movie Grill.

“Luxury is all about convenience and the VIP experience," said Ameesh Paleja, Atom Tickets co-founder and chief executive officer. "Atom Tickets is the most convenient way to attend movies and get the VIP treatment.  Consumers can seamlessly order tickets, pick their seats (at applicable theaters), pre-order concessions, and skip the lines at the theater. With Atom, every consumer is a VIP.”

From the app, you can easily check show times, connect with friends and order tickets with just a few taps making the movie-going experience fast, easy and social. You can even recommend movies that you love, enabling invitations to friends and family. We love the VIP experience of skipping ticket and concessions lines.

Here’s how it works. Simply download the Atom Tickets app available (no cost on the Apple App Store and Google Play). From here, you can check out reviews, trailers and synopses to help you decide what to see. You can then invite friends (via Facebook or their contact lists) to purchase their own tickets to join you. The app also enables ordering of tickets and concessions from any Android or iOS phone so once you arrive at the theater, simply go directly to the ushers and concession counters, where they will scan a QR code at tablet kiosks.

Atom Tickets has created an exclusive promo code “JUSTLUXE” for readers to take an additional $2 off the entire movie order, which is active through 11/30/16.
