Benefit concert for Sandy

There has been an outpouring of support for victims of Hurricane Sandy from all echelons of society.  Now it looks like celebrity world is using their visibility for the greater good an organizing themselves for a benefit concert to air on NBC networks on Friday, November 2nd.  

On November 1, celebrity support for the millions of people who have suffered due to Sandy's wrath has amped up big time. News today via numerous sources by way of "The Hollywood Reporter" says that such luminaries as Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Christina Aguilera will sing at a special benefit to counteract some of the mass destruction served up by the storm.

This newly scheduled, six-hour concert, which is dubbed "Sandy: Coming Together" and which is to be hosted by "Today" show anchor Matt Lauer, will be broadcast on Friday on the NBC Universal Networks as well as via live streaming on NBC.com starting at 2 p.m., ET.
