Boot Season is Upon Us

Other than the fact that my wife keeps telling me she wants new calf-covering boots, the lower temperatures and droves of women I see wearing them again tells me that, yes, it's boot season yet again. While I particularly like mid-length, this season is seeing a rise in the popularity of shorter boots, which, if you don't mind the tip, should never be worn with shorts.


A chill in the air, the snug leather fit at your ankle, and the click of your heel on the sidewalk — it must be boot season!

At last, it is the perfect weather for fall-to-winter boots. Boots bring confidence to your stride and add length to your legs. They can add height without a tipping heel. And the best boots are warm and snug, molding to your foot throughout the season.
