Dancing Hares VIneyard Releases Mad Hatter 2009

Dancing Hares VIneyard

It’s time to put your hat on.

Not the straw hat that you wear on vacation. Think Alice in Wonderland.

Now meet Mad Hatter, a 2009 blend of cabernet, merlot, petit verdot and cabernet Franc brought to you by Dancing Hares Vineyard.

This vintage was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels before being released earlier this spring. The wine is a delicious blend of richness from the cabernet paired up with the aromatic complexity of the cabernet Franc and petit verdot.

We poured our bottle into a decanter and waited for a few minutes for the wine flavors and aromas to come to a full body. We loved the hints of blackberry and black tea that complement the complex aroma.
