In a few days, President Barack Obama will be sworn back in as President of the United States of America, but the fashion industry couldn't care less about the politics of the event so much as the possibility of having Michelle Obama wear one of their dresses. Dozens of designers have submitted dresses for consideration and it's looking like we'll have to wait for the event to see what she chose.

Twenty designers have reportedly sent clothing to the White House for consideration. The front-runners include Michael Kors, Derek Lam, Naeem Khan, Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Bibhu Mohapatra, Thakoon Panichgul, Tracy Reese, Chris Benz, Tory Burch, Narciso Rodriguez, Zac Posen, Maria Cornejo, Thom Browne, Barbara Tfank and Laura Smalls.
