"Dishonesty Hour" Hits Paris Luxury Hotel Bar

Hotel guests at Pavillon de la Reine, Hotel du Petit Moulin and Le Pavillon des Lettres in Paris now have access to what is possibly one of the most exciting developments in bar concepts since bars were invented. The hotels are offering "dishonesty hour", where guests get to mix their own cocktails and drink for free. Seriously. 

 

A family of Parisian boutique hotels has launched perhaps the happiest of happy hours in the city with a “Dishonesty Bar” that invites hotel guests to mix their own cocktails and drink for free.

Every Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm, sister hotels Pavillon de la Reine, Le Pavillon des Lettres and Hotel du Petit Moulin will host a “Dishonesty Hour” where guests can mix their martini or rum and Coke just the way they like it.

The program goes a step beyond their regular Honesty Bar which, like its namesake, works on the honour system: after mixing their own drinks, guests are meant to write down the booze they consumed, which is then added to their final tab. Read More
