But the father of four and his only daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi recently made headlines after she was arrested for drug possession in upstate New York following an alleged heroin overdose in her college dorm room.
Thursday, the Oneida County District Attorney announced that it was dismisssing charges against Bongiovi, a 19-year-old student at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., because she possessed less than 8 ounces of heroin.
