Summer in the Hamptons is for shopping on Newtown Lane or hitting the beach.  One thing I did not expect to do was pay tribute to a legendary handbag designer.  The Judith Leiber Collection is tucked away in a residential neighborhood near east Hampton.

The museum is situated on the grounds of the Leiber family home and houses the private art collection and works of Gerson Leiber as well as Judith Leiber.  You will find a treasure trove of her most iconic works and personal favorites.
