Hector 'Macho' Camacho fighting for his life in his native Puerto Rico

Former boxing champ Hector "Macho" Camacho was shot Tuesday night just outside of his hometown Bayamon in Puerto Rico. Camacho was a passenger in a Ford Mustang when another car pulled to the vehicle's side and opened fire, killing the driver and critically injuring Camacho. Camacho was shot through the jaw and according to his rep, doctors fear he may never walk again.

Héctor "Macho" Camacho is fighting for his life.

The former world lightweight boxing champion was critically injured Tuesday night in a shooting in his native Puerto Rico that left another man dead, Camacho's publicist confirms to E! News. Click here to read more.
