Thanks for the tips. In Miami the humidity makes it impossible for me to straighten my hair in the summer. I hate how mousse and gel make my hair look wet and crispy. I'm glad to hear about these options.

Thanks for the tips. I'm growing my hair out for the first time in forever and I'm starting to struggle with what to do with it in these in between stages.

I once had a hair dress butcher my mid-back length hair into a hideous "pixie" cut (not by my choosing, and it didn't look well executed). After many tears I used clips and hair bands to help keep my hair looking styled while growing it out. I think short is surprisingly a lot of work.
