One of our favorite places to stay in Florence is the JK Place Hotel. It's more like a sophisticated home than a hotel, with working fireplaces, antiques and collectables remiscent of the items a family would accumulate over several generations. Claudio Meli is the General manager and has done a fantastic job of maintaining this fine world class boutique hotel. It is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and their sister property is located on the island of Capri.
