This looks like a celebrity showdown in the making as Kate Holmes' and Victoria Beckham's respective lines will show on the same day at New York Fashion Week. On September 9th both stars will be vying for the attention of fashion editors and critics. 

Holmes & Yang  is already building up anticipation from the industry following Holmes’ divorce from Tom Cruise and PR paparazzi campaign photographing the actress out about town in her very own threads. On the other hand, you have Beckham coming off the performance at the Closing Ceremony at the Olympics and in wise timing, served as a guest editor for Glamour this month. Not to mention the super chic mom turned designer has earned her spot on recent best dressed lists, sporting her very own line. Beckham breaks the mold and is one of the celebrity lines that actually deserve the notoriety it is receiving.  

So who will prevail: Holmes or Beckham? There is definitely enough attention to go around but we will be awaiting the reviews from the very best at fashion’s most exciting event of the year.
