Lady Gaga's Speech Rocked, But Her Outfit Didn't

Appropriate, But Not The Monster We Love

If ever there was a time to embrace the wild and flamboyant then a speech directed at the LGBT community was probably the best time for some truly outrageous or celebratory fashion especially given the political climate, but Lady Gaga opted for a much more demure than normal all-black ensemble that, while certainly appropriate, lacked that signature flare we've all come to know and love from the superstar. Nothing, however, could take away from her touching speech.

She has made it her personal cause to stand up for those who have been bullied, especially those in the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender community.

 

Lady Gaga showed her unequivocal faith in her fans and the Gay community at large as she rallied the crowd with a moving speech and a passionate acappella rendition of the National Anthem at the New York City 2013 Pride Kick Off Rally on Friday night.

News of the speech was leaked on Thursday night after the Huffington Post cited a source that the pop star would be secretly appearing at the rally at Pier 26 'somewhere between 7 and 10pm on Friday night.' (Read More)
