Larry Hagman Passes, Celebrities Mourn Publicly

A slew of celebrities have been showing their respects via social networking sights and television for the passing of Larry Hagman, the villain from Dallas and co-star of I Dream of Jeannie. Those publicly mourning include Elizabeth Hurley, Michael Strahan, Larry King and William Shatner, among many more.

 

Larry Hagman, the veteran actor behind one of TV’s most infamous villains, died Friday at age 81. According to his official website, Hagman died at a Dallas hospital of complications from cancer. He was surrounded by friends and family in his final moments.

Hagman, who starred in the 1960’s sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie” with Barbara Eden, and found even more fame as the hated oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on "Dallas," was in the city shooting the reboot of that series when he passed. Read More
