L'Espalier Hosts $750 Super Luxe Dinner on December 12

To kick off the holidays in style, L’Espalier is hosting a super luxeDomaine de la Romanée-Conti Winedinner in Boston on December 12. Thefive-course guided wine dinner, which is $750 per person, will be hosted by sommelier Lauren Collins where you can sip on three of the world’s finest wines,including the2005 Romanée Saint Vivant, the 2006 Echezeaux, and the 2007 La Tache.

 

The menu for the evening will feature:

 

AMUSE BOUCHE

2002 Lanson “Gold Label” Brut

Fresh baked langoustine persillade with walnut

 

FIRST COURSE

2006 DRC Echezeaux

Seared bass filet, braised pork jowl and black truffles with pine mushroom and cauliflower;

veal and truffle jus

 

SECOND COURSE

2005 DRC Romanee Saint Vivant

Charcoal grilled woodcock and foie gras with red cabbage and pearl onions;

black mission fig relish

 

THIRD COURSE

2007 DRC La Tache

Chicory chocolate-glazed venison loin with fresh escargot and Swiss

Chard ragout; Alba white truffle potato; Burgundy jus
