Loam & Leaf Mattress Review: Plush, Cool & Comfortable

Loam & Leaf

Getting a good night’s sleep is essential to good health, mental clarity and contributes to a better mood when you wake up. We have all had a few of those amazing nights of uninterrupted sleep when you awake to feeling completely rested. The folks at Loom & Leaf, a luxury memory foam mattress from the makers of Saatva, have created a mattress that does just that.

Gone are the days of tossing and turning all night to find the most comfortable position to fall asleep. The super plush plant-based memory foam mattress is made with cooling gel so you will no longer wake up feeling hot and uncomfortable. What makes this mattress unique is its Spinal Zone gel, a medical grade gel panel that is layered onto the spinal area to produce a much cooler sleep.

Like Saatva, the mattress is only sold online, but the process is simple to use and they offer nationwide delivery. Just visit Loam & Leaf and choose your comfort level (firm or relaxed firm, their signature level). Next, choose your mattress size (they range from twin to California king) and then opt for an additional foundation. The mattress is about a foot high so be sure to keep that in mind. The foundation sizes range from 4.5” high for a low profile to 8.75” for a standard profile. You can also add on a frame if you need to and they will even take your old mattress (for an additional fee) making the process even more simplistic.

Our first night’s sleep on our new mattress was pure luxury. The quilted, organic cotton fabric is so soft and the mattress itself with its supportive memory foam kept us sleeping for a full uninterrupted eight hours. The mattress is also made with a foam layer and transition foam layer for additional support and comfort.

They are so convinced you will love your new mattress that Loam & Leaf offers a 75-day home trial. If you don’t like it, just call them and they will arrange for pickup and return of the product without any fees or penalties.

As for our mattress? We won’t be returning ours anytime soon.
