Massage Envy's Couple's Massage is Perfect Gift for Valentine's Day

Massage Envy

Weekends were made for relaxation. Just ask the folks at Massage Envy, a spa designed to relieve stress and ease muscle tension.

What makes this locally franchised spa so unique is they offer a membership-based program to get you on a regular massage schedule. If you suffer from chronic back pain or just like to indulge in a little bit of extra relaxation now and again, this plan is for you.

Instead of having to pay close to $100 per massage like most spas charge, Massage Envy charges $59.99 a month (this may vary from location to location), which includes a one-hour massage each month. For every massage you want to add on after that, it’s just $39.99 per session. You can even use the credits toward a facial (try a Vitamin C or an anti-aging one). What is even better is that if you are unable to visit one month, the amount paid rolls over to the next month, working similar to a cell phone plan with rollover minutes that don’t expire.

My husband and I recently booked a couple’s massage by experienced therapists Sheryl and Sally, who worked their therapeutic magic to loosen our muscles and relieve stress and tension. Since I spend so much time sitting in front of a computer, Sheryl decided to focus on my neck, upper back and shoulders. My husband has had a longstanding shoulder issue so Sally carefully worked to relieve his pain and tension.

At the end of our hour-long session, we were both left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed. This might be the perfect gift for Valentine's Day.
