Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been the media's country sweethearts since they took home their joint CMA Award last week, and it seems the media wants to know all about their lives and marriage. Lambert talked babies with People this week, and it seems like babies aren't in the near future for this country couple. Lambert and Shelton keep busy with their careers and their 6 rescue dogs, not to mention Lambert started MuttNation Foundation, a nonprofit organization she started to help dogs and shelters in need. Content to play mom and dad to the four-legged furry variety, the human babies will likely wait for a few years.
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may becrazy in love, but they're not going to be making babies anytime soon. After all, they already have six at home.
"I don't plan on having [children] for a while," Lambert, 29, tells PEOPLE Country. "To me, my dogs are my children."
