It’s official: the fashion-forward ecommerce site Nasty Gal is debuting its first label and they released a lookbook shot by Terry Richardson. It’s already going viral.
The new line is a 26-piece collection dubbed "Weird Science," (yes, just like the movie we all remember where the model comes to life) and "is the ultimate amalgamation of the digital and alchemical." Big words, big statement pieces to match.
Basically, the threads are fun, cute, quirky and sexy. And brings art to life blending an 80s prom queen and 90s rocker look that only they can make look so good. The collection pulls inspiration from teen movie culture and includes slouchy sweaters, leather fringe, and dresses taken straight out of Pretty Woman and shortened to a party hem length.
It’s like a movie set wardrobe in your closet, and that is why you need to look for the collection debuting at the end of this month.
