Reality star turned designer, Nicole Richie is gearing up for her Macy’s debut next month. And while the line doesn’t officially launch until September 12, buzz about the fashion partnership is steadily building.
Richie channels her own personality in the premier fashion collection for Macy’s and even stars in the ads herself; the 25-piece collection boasts an eclectic style with an overall bohemian chic flair. She also includes few pieces particularly more daring for the riskier fashionista.
The Look Book was released last week and it has both consumers and editors alike drooling over the designs that ranging from leather tops with a lace bodice to tux jackets, maxi dresses, faux leather leggings and incorporates colors from mysterious black to fall’s “it” color, bold bright yellow. True to the star’s style, Richie also includes hats in the line to mix and match with the different designs
Richie reported to The Cut earlier stating: “I wanted to focus on that Macy’s girl and make it extremely accessible and affordable but have it still be ‘me’ at the same time.”
