Inge H. Schmidt was born in East Germany where she studied painting at the college of Arts in Berlin. Inge is well known for her expressionistic portrait paintings which she calls her "Köpfe", (heads). Inge H. Schmidt has exhibited in France, New York, New Jersey, and Berlin. She is a Lecturer at the Berlin School of Technical Art. Inge was always interested in the human condition.
