Brief description on Ooty
Ooty, the exotic hill station of India is the prettiest tourist destination of India that is visited by countless vacationers and honeymooners too. Nuzzled in the Blue Mountains of Western Ghats at an elevation of 2,286 meters above sea level, it was once used as summer resort by British during the colonial era. Lofty mountains, thick forests, extensive pampas, long-stretched tea gardens, amazing lakes and eucalyptus trees make it a prominent tourist spot in India.

Tourism of Ooty
It is full of fascinating delights, when it comes to tourism factor. Be it, alluring surroundings, meadows flower beds, appealing nature, enchanting panoramic views and quaint atmosphere, Ooty provides different experiences to different vacationers while India holidays. Besides it, it is famous for stunning tourist attractions such as stone house, Toda huts, hill train, St. Stephen’s Church, Wax World, Golf Course, Tribal museum, Ooty Lake, Fern hill Palace, etc.

The mountain train is an additional attraction of Ooty. Kallar is the starting point of this train and then it wends its way through several channels and guzzles which are covered amidst rolling mountains. While travelling in train, you will discover verdant vegetation, gusting waterfalls, bubbling streams, a series of tea gardens, lofty valleys, etc of this hill resort. There are many hill stations in India, but this place is market one of the best.

Besides it, Ooty has an exclusive rose garden. Earlier known as the Jayalalithaa Rose Garden, it is counted as the largest rose garden in India. It is replete with a wide variety of roses. It is nestled on the ranges of the Elk Hill of Ooty at an elevation of 2200 meters. In terms of accommodation facility, Ooty tops amongst the list of hill stations in India. There are around 40 five-star hotels and motels in Ooty. All the hotels of this place are quite luxurious ranging from accommodation arrangements to room facilities. Apart from hotels and resorts, one will find small enchanting villas and cottages in this hill resort. Villas are very pretty in look and also decorated with flowers and balconies. Most of the villas are constructed by wood like a hut that offers a lovely holiday in Ooty. Therefore, villas are mostly chosen by honeymooners.

Climate Condition
It bears mild climate throughout the year. During winters, nights are generally chilly and summers features cool environment. Thus, it opens for all the seasons to visit.

From May to June, tourists are advised to visit here.
