Our company was thinking about expanding its business to new areas for over a year. It has been postponed due to various reasons and when they decided finally, the first area they choose out of our country was San Francisco in United States of America. There is a problem with our company in taking decisions and implementing the same. They will delay the matter till the last minute and then suddenly increase the pressure on the employees to get it done immediately. The same thing happened here also and I and my colleague who were assigned the work had to rush to catch one of the last minute flights. Though there are many cheap flights to San Francisco, we did not get time to search for the cheapest airline..
As we reached there we felt that the decision to start an office here is the right one. The city is thriving in business and almost all global brands have presence here. Besides, it is a hot tourist spot too. That is why there are a large number of visitors and hence almost all major airlines like British Airways and Air France are operating flights to San Francisco. The architecture itself is an attraction to the visitors apart from the China Town, Golden Gate Bridge and Cable Car etc. We got enough time in between our business meetings to visit these places. We visited many museums also. San Francisco is rich in culture too. There are many places for performing arts and we could get chances to see some such programs too. We could not forget the evenings we spent on Baker Beach and Ocean Beach. It is not possible to say which among these beaches were liked most by us. Both the beaches were lively and well crowded. There were many people enjoying the sea bath and we could see a large number of foreigners too. After the introduction of cheap tickets to San Francisco, the number of visitors has increased. Maritime Historical Park and the Amusement park were the two other places where we spend lot of time.
We could not help staying away from shopping here. The shopping in San Francisco is really an unforgettable experience. Westfield San Francisco Center and the Union Square Shopping are two big malls where most of the tourists get attracted. These two big malls have everything for you and you may have to spend a whole day to see the products displayed there. Shopping in these malls will give you a feeling of modern day shopping but the experience in Chestnut Street is totally different. The small and large shops selling different things and small restaurants and coffee shops in between will give you a feeling of a village market. Here you will feel totally different when you visit China Town for shopping. As you reached inside through the dragon gate, you certainly feel like being in China. Proclaim crockery, and various handicrafts made in proclaim are available here for a cheaper price.
The shopping is also a part of tourism in this city and hence most of the tourists visiting this city prefer to go out for shopping too.
