Our Favorite Fall Fashion Finds From Madewell
By: Tara Imperatore   |    Posted on September 13, 2011   |   4 Comments (0) (0)

Summer has officially come to an end and it’s time to transition into the crisp, fall weather. Don’t be too sad because fall fashions are cuter than ever. Sophisticated coats, sexy boots, comfy sweaters, sassy scarves and so much more. Here are a few of our must-have picks courtesy of the sweet styles of Madewell.

Madewell Archive Leather Boots $298

Nothing says autumn like a fabulous boot and Madewell's archive leather boots in their English saddle hue are a perfect fit for fall. They are versatile enough to be worn over skinny jeans during the day or a sweater dress at night and classic enough to transcend the seasons. They also come in black and grey so you can choose the one that suits your style best.

Madewell Cable Knit Over the Knee Socks $18.50

To keep a youthful look even when bundling up, try on these cable knit over the knee socks. They look flirty and feminine popping out above your knee high boots or can just keep your legs warm in a knee length dress. The come in navy, cream and beige shades so all three will come in handy when pairing with your fave fall styles.

Madewell Smokeshadow Sweatshirt Poncho $88

Ponchos are coming back in a big way and this one from Madewell is a comfortable way to sport the trend subtly. It's perfect for layering on those unpredictable fall days and the hood keeps it casual for trips to the supermarket, park, or school.

Madewell Striped Lamp Post Sweater Dress $168

A sweater dress is a good way to stay cozy while still looking super cute. The vintage copper and black stripes bring in those warm fall colors without looking dowdy or frumpy. Come to think of it, this would look great with those black archive leather boots!

Madewell Penelope Geometric Scarf $55

Just because the warm summer weather is gone doesn't mean we have to forget about the season's fun colors. Stay warm and bright with these sketched shapes scarves. Throw one on to take a simple outfit to a whole new level.

Madewell Silk Bookmark Blouse $110

Although the fall weather may make us want to constantly curl up in a big, chunky sweater, we still have to go out into the world and make a good impression. This blouse is great for work or a dinner date, but is still relaxed enough that you won't feel overdressed; and who could resist the soft feel of silk against their skin?

Madewell Keepsake Cardigan $72

With the nights getting cooler, a cardigan will become your best friend. Toss it on over a dress or T-shirt to polish your look and stay warm while still looking sophisticated. The keepsake cardigan comes in avocado, smokestack, rusty torch, yellow glaze and true black so you can pick the one that will be your new go-to piece.

Madewell Wordsmith Blazer $170

If you're not quite ready to don a big fall coat yet, a blazer is an ideal alternative. This black and white herringbone style can be dressed up with a blouse, dress pants and heels, or kept casual with a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
