With a specific prowess in launching new concepts for food and beverage products and retail concepts, Alyson Dutch has worked with clients that range from Wine & Spirits magazine to Mrs. Fields Cookies, Tokyo Coca Cola's Green Tea Terrace, Pat & Oscar's Restaurants, Champagnes Perrier Jouet, Taittinger and Mumm, thinkproducts, Bragg Nutritionals and the highly exclusive Malibu Wine Classic. She has launched cookbooks for Colin Cowie (Effortless Entertaining, Little Brown) and publicized the annual Dining by Design to support AIDS research. Dutch was the Contributing Food Editor for the luxury real estate magazine, SPACE, has written for Eating magazine and is currently a Contributing Editor to ColorandAroma magazine. Due to her Taurean love of aesthetics, her company also attracts companies in design related fields from the nation's top event planners such as Colin Cowie and Edgar Zamora to the 'Epicurean Spielberg,' Mary Micucci's Along Came Mary Event Productions. Since 1996, Dutch has served as the founder and CEO of the Malibu, California based Brown + Dutch Public Relations and recently authored the PR Handbook for Entrepreneurs (www.prhandbookforentrepreneurs.com). She knows the difference between passion fruit and grandilla juice and can recreate most things she tastes in her own kitchen. She is an oenophile who adds considerable mileage to her convertible with frequent trips to the wine country. In the Spring and Fall, Dutch can be found at Hospice du Rhone, getting her hands sticky at the crush for the legendary Santa Maria pinot winery, Tantara, or dipping bottles into wax for her fellow Malibu denizens, Hoyt Family Vineyards.
