Stefanie Payne works in the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. A fourth-generation entrepreneur, she launched her first company at the age of 26 and studied fine arts at les École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France. When she is not telling the story of human exploration in space, her focus is writing about exploration on Earth?with published articles appearing The Travel Channel, The Wall Street Journal, blogs for The National Geographic Society and BusinessInsider, to name a few.
