ARTIFICE began as an accidental blog while living in Paris and has grown into a point of view that is decidedly curious, irreverent and takes a historical viewpoint of the world of art, culture and luxury for a modern age. Pikke Allen is a Writer, Brand Curator and Principal Consultant of her own luxury brand atelier. Her passion for all things French is a tribute to her dad, a devoted francophile and French teacher. Spending many summers in France growing up on the left bank in Paris was a great education. A degree in Dramatic literature from Berkeley and a Masters in Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon completed her formal training. Ms. Allen entered the world of entertainment as a designer, costumer and stylist in Hollywood seeing it all from backstage and behind the curtain. Ms. Allen has been published in VINGT PARIS magazine, a top Paris blog as well as GIRLS GUIDE TO PARIS.
