Pikke Allen is a Writer and Principal Consultant for her own Content & Branding Atelier. Her passion for all things French is a tribute to her dad, a French teacher and devoted Francophile. She grew up on the left bank in Paris during one of the most fruitful periods in art, fashion and culture in the 1970s. Pikke has been published on a variety of travel platforms including 'Girls Guide to Paris' 'VINGT PARIS' and Belle Inspiration Magazine exclusively for Paris Travelers. ARTIFICE began as an accidental blog in Paris and has grown into a portfolio of online magazines created and published by Ms. Allen from both Los Angeles and Paris.

I actually like the Fall season and just returned from my annual trip to France. The tourists are mostly gone, and there are many things to do like festivals, art shows, antique fairs, museum shows, and more. August is also a good time to go to Europe, in some cities the hotel rates go lower due to less demand from the Europeans who are on vacation elsewhere. Larger cities boast lower rates during August through the first week of September.
Kim Kardashian was photographed wearing a custom gown, not any from this collection. The designer is already on the rise in Paris, from the press and fashion elite. I will have a new report for the upcoming season next year!

I can hardly wait for the AMERICAN AIRLINES fleet to be complete! I have been traveling via SWISSAIR to Europe for the past 3 years now as I was totally fed up with the American Airlines experience. Perhaps things are looking up for US air travel!

This is such a wonderful idea for a hotel, to combine art, luxury and business, into something that benefits all. I would like to see more hotels envision the cross pollination between artists, and, the residents of a hotel, especially in cities like Paris, where the artist still remains, a poor cousin to this industry.
