unfortunately it is becoming more and more necessary. With the increasing number of college grads with a Bachelor's degree, and with so many more people looking for work, employers have more leeway in what they look for. Because of this a bachelor's degree starting to loose some if its value in a lot of fields now and some employers are even requiring a masters degree before they will even consider an applicant. This is especially true for any advanced position or management careers.
I wholeheartedly agree. Not to say that a spontaneous dinner destination cant yield a hidden gem, but having a plan can save you a lot of heart ache (not to mention heart burn). Thanks for the comment :)
