We shop at a Farmer's Market and can get organic products at the same or less than the supermarket non-organic products. Many of the supermarkets use the word "organic" to charge exorbitant prices. We try to avoid them! Do you pay a little more for organic ingredients ? If so, why? Ask The Lounge 04.20.2012
Dan, I concur. Too often is "green" and excuse to charge more or offer less. Same for "organic". It doesn't have to be that way. Over time, things will change. Green Travel? Green Resorts? Do you care? Ask The Lounge 04.20.2012
Sugar moderation is indeed the healthier choice vs. artificial sweeteners. We haven't had sugar in our house for years. I fell into the trap of focusing on diet products that made you gain weight. After learning that most diet sodas affected your metabolism and caused weight gain, I cut them out completely, but, temptation would often take over. Then we found sodas sweetened with Stevia, an all natural, no calorie sweetener. This now allows me to enjoy an occasional soda without the guilt! FYI, Truvia (Coke)and PureVia (Pepsi) are blends based on extracts from the Stevia plant, but are not pure Stevia. Since they use all natural ingredients, they are not artificial sweeteners, but natural sugar substitutes. Truvia has now become the number 2 sugar substitute in the US. I agree that NONE of the responses are applicable to me nor to the idea of what I assume would be a question aimed at LUXURY CARS due to the site. Nav systems are important, but, with aftermarket and smartphones typically more up-to-date and offering more features, it isn't high on the list. Not a large percentage of the luxury car market buyers purchase based on fuel economy. Automatic Parallel parking is a gimmick for those that can't drive, plus, most luxury cars are valet parked anyway. Quality, Performance, Style & Reliability would have been much better choices. When it comes to buying a new car, what feature is most important to you? Ask The Lounge 12.31.2011
