Is it just me or is French wine highly over-rated? I like my reds, especially Cabs and Zins, more jammy and fruit forward, so I find that French wines tend to be too dry and gritty. And I like Chardonnays to be buttery, which is very indicative of CA whites.
Yes, with the emphasis being on a LITTLE more, because it does cost more to farm organically. However, I do find it disturbing when I see produce selling for 3 or 4 times more than their non-organic counter-parts.
