Katie recently graduated in May 2012 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She recieved a degree in journalism and minor in psychology. At SMU she was a contributing writer for the school's newspaper, The Daily Update, as well as various blogs. After graduating Katie returned to her hometown of San Diego to pursue her journalism career and love of writing.
