I've tried a lot of things to stay slim including cleansing, jenny craig, dr bernstein... all I can say is you are absolutely right here. The problem, of course, is if it was easy to eat properly, we would! The problem is that we are essentially addicted to the wrong foods. I did recently discover a vitamin that has done wonders to break my addiction to sugar. (http://bit.ly/realw-8) I've lost 15 pounds in two months because I now am able to pick the right foods. The addiction is gone. I never realized that I was over eating (large portions, second helpings) because of my sugar addiction. I wasn't eating sugar after all! But once the sugar cravings were removed from the picture, everything else began to change. It never ceases to amaze me when I'm in Whole Foods and walk by their muffin counter without the slightest pang! It's a really good feeling.
