Hmmm, first...why don't they show a conceptual picture of the aircraft instead of a Dassault Mirage? The speed is impressive but equal that of the retired SR-71 / A-12 / YF-12 "official" maximum speed......By 2030, scramjets "should" be somewhat standard for high speed use. There have been a huge amount of "What Ifs" allready for hypersonic and supersonic modern passenger aircraft. Not the least being the NASP ( National Aerospace Plane of the 80s......This I feel will be another.
