As a flight attendant I want to thank you for this article. Pajamas may be comfortable, but unless you're under 6 years old they should not be worn on an airplane!
I've done 2 similar type trips. The first was a llama trek thru Escalante Park in Utah. We hiked and took photos, the llamas carried our packs, and the guides set up the tents and cooked. The second trip was a photo safari in Botswana's Okavango Delta. Both were fantastic experiences!
#3 "Master your vices" is one I preach all the time. I have friends that are always complaining about being broke and fat, yet they waste cash and calories each day on cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, and fast food. Quit smoking, party less, brew your own pot of coffee, and pack your own healthier lunch! One friend took my advice and was able to buy a new big screen TV within 6 months and a new bikini!
