British comedian Rowan Atkinson is hinting at the retirement of his character Mr. Bean.  Mr. Bean has been wildly successful for Atkinson, but he cautions "someone in their 50s being childlike becomes a little sad.  You've got to be careful."  Why the change of heart Rowan?  Is it because you're giving serious acting a shot?  Atkinson is preparing to make a serious acting debut in "Quartermaine's Terms."  What do you think - has Mr. Bean seen his better days or is he timeless?
