It seems no matter where I turn I’m hearing about the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise. From news reports and radio to seeing it on my wife’s nightstand, I just can’t seem to get away from it. However, now that it looks like Ryan Gosling is going to have a role in the movie, I have something to look forward to when it eventually gets released.
Casting rumors are still flying fast and hard for Universal Pictures' adaptation of the ridiculously popular erotica novel, Fifty Shades of Grey. The latest Hollywood star to get thrown into the mix? One Ryan Gosling, who has been notoriously picky about the kind of roles he's been accepting over the last few years. According to Niall Leonard, the husband of the E.L. James (the author of the Grey trilogy), there may have been discussions already: the U.K.'s Now magazine is reporting that "last he heard," Gosling was in the frame to play the manipulative billionaire in the adaptation.
