Ellenborough Park, an enchanting manor house retreat situated in the hillsides of Cheltenham Spa, UK, has offered the perfect cure to the typically boring Valentines Day dinner. David Kelman created a special seductive menu this year, highlighting twenty different types of aphrodisiacs in his Valentines Day seven-course tasting menu, designed to put his guests in the perfect sensual mood. “I wanted people to have fun with the menu, to try and guess what ingredients they were about to eat,” says Chef Kelman. ”I incorporated dishes that will make our guests’ blood flow, let them relax and leave them feeling happy. There are some items that guests will recognize as clear aphrodisiacs and some that come as a surprise. Each course is slightly smaller than normal sizes, so when couples finish they will feel content but not tired.” The rest of the evening was left up to guest's imaginations.
