Shop at Saks and Support Local Charities

The 46 locations that comprise the luxurious SaksFifth Avenue department store empire are now working with local charities to give back to the local communities surrounding each store. And all you have to do to help the initiative is shop at Saks using your Saks Fifth Avenue credit card.

“Saks Fifth Avenue is committed to our local communities.  We appreciate our customers’ charitable involvement and look forward to giving back locally with this exciting and newly implemented national program,” Steve Sadove, Chairman and CEO, Saks Incorporated, said.

Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5% of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card back to the charity of the customer's choosing. To register, all it takes is one easy step at purchase to send your money to the local charity.

Each store has a selection of charities to choose from, to keep the money within the community of the local Saks Fifth Avenue store. In New York, charities for the month of February includedThe Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center,Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, Robin Hood, American Museum of Natural History and Autism Speaks.

If you don't have a Saks Fifth Avenue, worry not becauseSaks.com will also be supporting the program, with 5% of online purchases made using a registered Saks credit card, being donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Sounds like a good excuse to start your Spring wardrobe now—and give a little while you get a little.
