I know the majority of my posts focus on women’s fashions and trends, but I would like to discuss something that seems to affect more and more adults as time goes on: the inability to dress with class. With buzz going around that this and upcoming generations have a feeling of entitlement that seems to come from being spoon fed their entire lives, there is also a diminished sense of style that goes with the inability to properly work hard. I’m not talking about the occasional hyper-casual outfit, either; I am specifically bringing this up in regards to the sloppy nature of clothes that are so prevalent on many young adults.
With men, this comes in the form of skate shoes and white socks (terrible combination, by the way) and cargo shorts. For women it’s faded acid washed jeans and either a hooded sweatshirt or a holey t-shirt. While these outfits might be suitable for a high school or college student, they just aren’t attractive on men and women that are actually a part of the workforce. Just my two cents.
