So You Want Gorgeous, Carefully-Styled Locks? Read for Natural Beauty Hair Tips

If you’re one of the lucky ones, you don’t have much trouble with your hair – your hair stays in place, is easy to care for, and easy to style. But if you’re like my friend, Anna, who is always frustrated with her hair, then you’ll be glad to know that you’re not alone.

As we all know, there are different hair types, and hair can be distinguished between fine, medium, and coarse. Fine hair is quite thin and lacks body and bounce. Medium hair, on the other hand, is thicker, has more volume, and can be straight, wavy, or curly. Coarse hair is quite rough in texture, and is often curly or frizzy.

Hair care made easy

Caring for different types of hair can be tricky. Fine hair benefits from gentle shampoos and conditioners, while coarse hair works better with stronger hair products.

You have to identify your hair type in order to determine what hair products and natural remedies you can use for it. Along with this, the shape of your hair, its size, length, and any previous treatments done to it (also referred to as hair processing) will help you choose the best products that will bring life and lustre back to your crowning glory.

Regardless of the type of hair you have, however, there’s one thing you can do for it: pat it dry. When you come out of the shower or bath, don’t rub your hair vigorously with a towel. Instead, gently pat it dry. Rubbing it will get rid of the natural oils from your scalp, leaving your hair dry and brittle. This is one of the best things you can do for your hair to help it get from dull and flat to sleek and shiny.

Benefit from natural remedies for dry hair and oily hair

Your hair can also either be oily or dry. Oily hair tends to look greasy and, needless to say, dirty. If you have oily hair, you can take advantage of a natural remedy: baking soda. Simply sprinkle some baking soda on your scalp and hair, starting from the nape to the hairline, massage it onto your hair, brush, and then blow dry.

Meanwhile, if you have dry hair, you can massage coconut oil on it once a week. Avoid frizz by massaging it with coconut oil and leave it on for as long as you want. Then rinse it with tepid water and see the astonishing results.

Another tip for great-looking hair would be to apply a weekly conditioning mayonnaise hair mask. This can help enrich and rejuvenate your hair, making it soft and supple in any season. Simply mix one raw egg with ¼ cup of olive oil and ¼ cup mayonnaise. Apply it onto your hair, cover with a towel, and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse, then apply shampoo and conditioner as you normally would.
