There's a new  luxury train in the offing in India for the luxury travelers. Mr. Rakesh Tandon, managing director of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), announced the launch of Takht Express, a luxury train to cover Sikh shrines in India. The train will be flagged of on 23rd of December, 2011 from Chandigarh. Whereas Mahaparinirvan Express covers Buddhist sites in India and Nepal, the new luxury train Takht Express will cover the five most important shrines of Sikhs.
