Its the perfect dress if you are planning on celebrating Christmas in style. A part of the A Crystal Christmas , this dress which has been embellished with more than 150,000 Swarovski elements crystals is to go on display in Harrods for the Crystal Christmas event.
Designed by Ralph & Russo, the dress is apparently inspired by the ‘decadence of the twenties’ and will be in its well deserved spot of being the centrepiece of Harrods Swarovski sponsored window display for Christmas. The dress or gown took more than 25 people working on it and is the result of hundreds of hours of man hours.
The high price of 230,000 pounds or $368,000 is a testament to the hard work that had to be put in to make this one of a kind dress a reality. The team at Ralph & Russo set out to create a show stopped, and from what we can make of it, they certainly succeeded.
