The Best Super Bowl Events of 2014

 

With every Super Bowl comes the infamous parties that revolve around the big game, and this year their was no shortage of extragagence when it came to party planning in the big apple. Sexiness, celebrities and entertainment were all on hand for some of the best parties of 2014. 

 

Private Event- Jan 25th

One of the first Super Bowl XLVII events took place Saturday night at Tokya (40 East 58th Street), NYC’s hottest new sushi lounge and nightclub.  A private NFL dinner with media, invited guests and NFL players included Evan Rodriguez (Bills), Robert McClain (Falcons), Danny Lansanah (Buccaneers), Kendall Gaskins (Giants), Mark Harrison (Patriots), Kashif Moore- (Steelers) and Aaron Berry (Jets).  Guests dined on sushi, sake and boutique drinks, and enjoyed music by Beyond. 

 

Jay Glazer/FOX Sports1 Super Bowl Kickoff Party January 29th 

The 8thAnnual Super Bowl Kickoff Party by hosted by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports at Pranna Lounge featured celebrities, athletes and media at the pre-party for the big game. Guests included Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady, former Giants running back Tiki Barber and Wade Smith of the Houston Texans.   

 

ESPN Party -January 31st

A favorite of athletes both past and present, the ESPN Party was headlined by CeeLo Green and Goodie Mob this year at Pier and one of the hardest tickets. Now in its 10thyear,this year was hosted at Basketball City near the South Street Seaport, and featured guests Victor Cruz, Joe Flacco, Jerry Rice, Magic Johnson and Spike Lee. Performances by Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar were part of the many hightlights of the evening.

 

Playboy Party- January 31st

Located on the floating Bud Light Hotel, The Playboy party featured a bevy of beautiful women, some in full-on bunny costumes, performances by Nelly, an ice bar and sexiness all around. Celeb sightings: Solange Knowles, Jill Zarin of The Real House of NY, Big Ang of Mob Wives, Ryan Phillippe, Queen Latifah, Evander Holyfield and Johnny Knoxville. 

 

Direct TV-February 1st

Now known as the most expensive Super Bowl party ever thrown, this year 6,000 guests (includingLeonardo DiCaprio, Paul McCartney,Mark Cuban, Jamie Foxx, Macklemore, Barbara and Jenna Bush, Spike Lee, Hayden Panettiere, Tom Arnold, Kate Upton and Lindsay Vonn) were treated to a performance by Jay Z with surprise guest Beyonce, DJ Tiesto, a top-shelf open bar, gourmet food, and tons of celebrity guests at the custom built stadium at Pier 40 in Manhattan. 

 

Leather and Laces-January 31st and February 1st

The annual Leather and Laces party could be the sexiest Super Bowl party, featuring model table hosts and Victoria's Secret Angels. This year, Friday night was hosted by Brooklyn Decker and Bar Refaeli, and Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio took over Saturday night at Liberty Theater in midtown. All the girls looked sexy in outfits with touches of leather or showing hints of skin. Past hosts have included Kim Kardashian, Jenny McCarthy, and Carmen Electra. Party included sexy lingerie wait staff, premium open bar, DJ Paris Hilton Friday night, food and aerial performances.

 

Super Bowl Maxim Party –February 1 

Now the super bowl party with the most seniority on the party circuit, this year's event was held at Espace and featured a premium open bar, Maxim Angels, sexy go-go dancers, passed appetizers by Phillippe, a performance by rapper Kendrick Lamar, a quick appearance by Justin Beiber, photo booth and no shortage of celebrities and attractive people.
